SLI Systems moves retailers off Google Commerce search

February 10, 2014

Last year, Google announced the end of the Google Commerce Search the spring of 2014. As the search platform, relied on by many retailers, approaches its deadline, SLI has launched a new service to help them migrate to its search and navigation service.

As part of its Google Commerce Search migration package, SLI is offering accelerated implementation at no charge and no professional services fees.
Retailers looking to deploy the SLI solution can do so by making their current Google product data feed available to SLI Systems.
“Retailers looking to replace Google Commerce Search will be pleasantly surprised to learn there are solutions like ours that provide much more customisation and tuning capabilities than they have currently,” said Tim Callan, CMO for SLI Systems. “With a learning-based solution that continually improves the relevance of results and significantly enhances the search and discovery process for online shoppers, our solution gives e-commerce brands tremendous bottom line results that they likely haven’t experienced before. We aim to make the transition from GCS to SLI as seamless as possible so retailers can start capturing ROI benefits right away.”
