LBi appoints Roy Capon as CEO of Asia Pacific

LBi has appointed Roy Capon as Chief Executive of its Asia Pacific operations with immediate effect.

Capon will be responsible for overseeing the development of LBis presence in the region, including its offices in Mumbai, Dubai and Sydney.
Reporting to the LBi Group Executive Board, Capon will work to bring greater consistency to the agencys Asia Pacific operations to ensure that clients in the region continue to receive an unparalleled blend of strategic, creative, media and technical expertise.
Capon will also be responsible for overseeing the launch of LBi in Singapore, providing a gateway to Southeast Asia for the agencys existing clients, while alsobringing LBis blended service offering to homegrown brands.
Capon joins LBi from Wunderman/Y&R Brands where he was Group Client Managing Director. Prior to that Capon was Deputy Managing Director of Euro RSCG 4D and Head of Digital at Euro RSCG in Sydney. He has over 15 years experience working in global integrated agencies.

Ewen Sturgeon, Chief Executive EMEA of LBi, said: “Asia Pacific is hugely important for LBi and I’m excited that someone of Roys calibre is coming on board to ensure that we continue building business value for our clients.”
The deal comes as Publicis bought LBi for €416m.
