Yahoo! debuts tool for personalised display ads

The service combines Yahoo's demographic, geographic and behavioural targeting capabilities with a new patent-pending creative ad assembly platform that allows the company's ad system to create customised ads in real-time.
Yahoo will use different backgrounds, logos and other features that are sent from the creative agencies. These can then be re-configured with ad copy based on who is seeing the ad and what they are interested in.
The ads will appear on Yahoo's network of publisher sites and eventually will be expanded to the newspapers
Yahoo will also run ads on the Right Media ad network, once its £338m purchase of the company is completed.
