RBS and Natwest debut BIzCrowd trading tool for small firms

January 11, 2013

RBS and NatWest have launched BizCrowd, a free online business supplier community, designed to complement the bank’s traditional SME services.

The site works by connecting businesses online, with suppliers in the Advertising and PR sector being invited to sign-up to Bizcrowd and pitch for service requirements posted by other UK businesses – or post their own.
BizCrowd is open to all UK businesses, is free to join and use, and is designed to encourage collaboration between British SMEs.
The website helps SME’s build their online profile and generate new business leads, as well as acting as a resource for customers looking for trusted suppliers.
Chris Sullivan, CEO Corporate banking, RBS & NatWest said: “It has always been the role of the bank manager to connect British businesses to one another, now we’re extending that support online. We hope Bizcrowd helps as many SMEs as possible raise their profile and win new business. “
Supplier registrations are now open for a wide range of sectors, from media and creative industries, to recruitment, construction and venues and events.
