Tencent Social Ads enters into social media computer-based testing agreement with Pearson VUE

October 2, 2018

Computer based testing firm Pearson VUE has entered into an agreement with Tencent Social Ads (TSA), to deliver its social media exam throughout China.

The new agreement will mean greater access to the exam – Tencent Social Ads Association Optimization Consultant Certificate Exam – for candidates, who now have the convenience of scheduling a time and date for their exam on-demand. They can also sit the exam at any of Pearson VUE’s local and highly secure test centres across the country.

Bosheng Zhao, vice president, China at Pearson VUE, said: “Our new agreement with Tencent Social Ads is very good news for candidates wherever they are in China. It had previously been delivered three days per year in five cities, but now that will be expanded to 120 days spread throughout the year and it will be available in all provinces.”

Melissa Li, operation director of Tencent’s Social Ads, said that the partnership with Pearson VUE would allow exams held for Tencent’s social advertising training certification system to be available in major cities throughout the country. “In the future, we will generate a large number of qualified sales and operations talent in social advertising to meet the rapidly developing demands of businesses,” she added. “This partnership further underscores Tencent’s commitment and expertise in the field of social advertising talent training certification.”
