Digital branding agency CorporateEdge joins Hotwire

October 2, 2014

Branding and digital agency CorporateEdge has joined PR firm Hotwire adding clients such as specifically Hotels.com and Currency Cloud to their roster.

Already part of the Enero Group, the agency will now operate under the Hotwire umbrella. The addition of CorporateEdge’s branding strategy and creative teams further bolsters Hotwire’s approach in delivering stand-out campaigns outside of ‘traditional’ PR.
Corporate Edge has been based in Hotwire’s London office for the last year, providing both teams with the opportunity to learn from each other and work closer together,
Both Hotwire and CorporateEdge have secured a number of new clients this year, including Moonpig, ZTE and EU Networks.
Brendon Craigie, CEO of Hotwire, comments: “The integration of CorporateEdge into Hotwire will allow us to offer an even wider portfolio of services to our clients. Their expertise in branding and digital platforms are a great fit with our ambition to offer game-changing communications campaigns.”
Alex Maclaverty, Group MD, Hotwire, said: “We have worked successfully with the CorporateEdge team on a number of clients already, with many more in the pipeline, demonstrating there now is an ever increasing need for wider services than traditional PR – CorporateEdge bolsters our ability to deliver this.”
CorporateEdge also today announces the promotion of Matthew Hinshelwood as Managing Director. Reporting into UK group MD, Alex Maclaverty, Hinshelwood will be leading the agency with a strong focus on enhancing the portfolio of activity through the close relationship with Hotwire. Hinshelwood had previously worked for Nokia and IBM, before joining CorporateEdge.
Commenting on his new role as MD and on joining Hotwire, Hinshelwood said: “Hotwire is an agency with the same values as CorporateEdge; an ambitious team with great ideas who generate outstanding results. Having worked closely with Hotwire for the past year, we’ve seen our two cultures merge and the people in both agencies create campaigns with the sort of vision I’ve never before experienced at any other company. The quality of work being delivered by both agencies is already of the highest standard, now we are both part of the same group, the opportunity is limitless.”
CorporateEdge will continue to operate as part of the London team but with an international remit, working with clients such as Richemont, JTI and Telstra Global.
