Google, Facebook and eBay were the most popular sites in Germany during May 2014, according to new data from comScore.
In May 2014, 58 million users in Germany accessed the Internet through their desktop computers or laptops, with 45.7 million watching videos online, the study found.
Among the Top 20 Online Property ranking, top gainers included ProSiebenSat1 Sites (+7%), Glam Media (+5%), Microsoft Sites and Yahoo Sites, which both gained 4% versus April 2014, respectively.
Meanwhile, Facebook reclaimed its #2 position with nearly 3 in 5 Germans visiting the social networking site during the month.
VEVO was among the fastest growing video destinations in May. The property climbed to the #7 position in the Top 20 Video Property ranking to reach 7.6 million viewers, an increase of 25% versus the previous month.
