Sizmek debuts single tag for all screens for cross-campaign measurement

May 15, 2014

Sizmek has launched a single tag solution for video campaigns across all screens, including desktop, smart phone, tablet and connected TV, giving advertisers a simplified process for managing multiscreen video campaigns.

Typically, a video campaign has separate tags attached to different screens. Sizmek’s HLS format ensures that a video starts instantly and delivers the highest quality experience across devices.
Video campaigns have often been plagued by poor quality. In 2013, over 25% of video views experienced buffering and over 40% were impacted by low resolution. Unlike traditional progressive download formats or legacy streaming technology that use fixed video resolutions and bit rates, HLS actually adapts to each user’s individual viewing environment to provide the optimal viewing experience.
“Advertisers invest significant budget in creating high quality video that is at the core of an optimal brand experience,” said Ricky Liversidge, chief marketing officer, at Sizmek. “By expanding our single tag solution to accommodate in-stream video across desktop, mobile and connected TVs, the optimal brand experience is now accessible and simple to achieve.”
Sizmek’s single tag solution is now available to users of the Sizmek MDX platform through select publishers.
