Marketing technology firm Teradata shakes up UK and Asia teams

January 17, 2014

Teradata has announced a major leadership reshuffle, as the marketing technology firm continues its expansion across the UK and South East Asia.

Simon Bowker, who has for 5 years served as Country Manager United Kingdom & Ireland for Teradata eCircle, previously holding the position of Operations Director UK, is moving to a new role within Teradata, as Area Manager for Pacific, South East Asia & Korea (PSAK), Teradata eCircle.
Bowker has driven the development and growth of UK&I, most recently within the International region, for Teradata’s integrated marketing applications business. Bowker will continue to report directly to Volker Wiewer, VP International, Teradata eCircle.
Christopher Kollat, currently Managing Director for Media Services, will be relocating to London from Germany to follow Bowker as Country Manager for UK&I, reporting directly to Volker Wiewer. Kollat has been with the company since 2000.
He brings more than a decade of experience in digital marketing sales and operations, and has been pivotal in securing clients including Deutsche Telekom and Volkswagen. Having managed the Teradata Digital Media Services business across three different markets (Germany, UK and Italy), Kollat also successfully managed the integration of the media business into the broader Teradata organisation.
Volker Wiewer, VP International, Teradata eCircle, said, “The work of Simon and his teams over the past 11 years has been nothing short of outstanding. We wish him all the best for his career in this new role, on a new continent and would like to thank him for his contribution to the UK&I region’s success. Christopher joins us at an exciting transitional time for our business, and I look forward to working with him to further our growth in 2014 and beyond.” Bowker added, “After 11 years in the UK&I region, I feel it is the right time to embrace new challenges and look forward to taking on the task of growing the Pacific, South East Asia & Korea (PSAK) region, and building on the great work of the team. I’m excited about embarking on this new chapter with my family in Australia.”
