New UK boss at Collective

Collective, a multi-screen advertising company headquartered in New York, has announced the appointment of Giles Ivey as Managing Director of the UK.

Reporting to Chief Executive Officer, Joe Apprendi, Ivey will oversee Collective’s UK operations and is expected to focus on driving growth Collective’s suite of multi-screen solutions in the UK market.
Giles’ appointment is effective immediately, and he will be based in Collective’s London office where he will drive awareness and growth of Collective’s solutions that enable publishers, brands and their agencies to deliver compelling content to audiences at scale across all screens.
“I am pleased to appoint Giles Ivey to lead Collective’s UK operations,” said Collective CEO, Joe Apprendi. “Giles is the right executive to expand Collective’s presence in the UK at this pivotal time when marketers are investing more and more in digital.”
Prior to Collective, Ivey helped launch digital music brand VEVO in the UK, and was formerly Director of Sales at Sky Digital Media, Commercial Director at AOL and Managing Director of EMEA and APAC at Say Media. At Say media, Ivey was credited with driving growth in the UK.
“Collective’s multi-screen leadership in the US provides momentum, best practices and client insights that will help to drive growth here in the UK,” said Ivey. “In addition to Collective’s market-leading video and rich media offerings already in the UK, I look forward to introducing additional solutions that enable advertisers to more effectively and efficiently reach their audiences across all screens.”
