First Chinese fashion retailer launches in UK

December 17, 2012

The first Chinese fashion retailer to expand to the UK, Bosideng, has launched its e-commerce website, offering premium menswear clothing and accessories.

Bosideng London opened the doors of its six-storey European headquarters just off Oxford Street in the summer.
As part of its expansion into the European market, Bosideng London’s most popular pieces from its Autumn/Winter 2012 collection are all available for next-day UK delivery.
The website has been launched with a ten per cent promotional discount on all orders, supported by free next-day delivery until 31 December 2012. Additionally, orders placed before 20 December will be delivered in time for Christmas.
“Following the launch of our London store, we’re pleased to expand our offering to the whole of the UK,” said Wayne Zhu, Bosideng UK’s CEO. “This is a key step in making our mark on British consumers and our target male audience. Recent reports show that UK consumers have one of the world’s highest online spends, and we’re very happy to be joining the cyber shopping experience.”
Bosideng London’s range has been developed by British Design Directors Nick Holland and Ash Gangotra, who hold five decades of combined experience and have previously worked with Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher on his Pretty Green label. Dedicated to quality and innovation, only 50 pieces of each item have been created for the exclusive Autumn/Winter 2012 collection.
The Bosideng flagship brand was launched in 1992. It has over 11,000 retail outlets with a brand portfolio that includes six core brands
