Compiling research carried out by the likes of Forrester, Gartner and B2B Marketing, Eloqua has visually represented the aggregated findings in the attached marketing infographic entitled, ‘Why Email Still Matters.’
Highlights of the infographic include:

• 70% of B2B marketers see email as ‘critical’ or ‘very important’
• The average sales cycle has increased by 22% over the past five years because decision makers are now more involved in the buying process

Eloqua has launched its ‘Mission of the Modern Marketer’ campaign, which examines pain points that today’s modern marketer faces and addresses solutions to those pain points by taking marketers from traditional marketing to becoming modern marketers using marketing automation solutions.
The campaign, which runs through the next several months, kicks off with the attached infographic on email marketing.
Eloqua’s Mission of the Modern Marketer campaign will continue throughout the autumn to address different marketing pain points through exploration of different ‘worlds.’
Each world will then have a ‘survival guide’ which will have good content around ‘issue’ or world – ultimately taking the marketer into the modern world of marketing, which is pain-free and optimised.
Each leg of the campaign will be supported by assets (such as this infographic) that underpin its message.
