mBlox adds smart groups for mobile campaign optimisation

October 9, 2012

Mobile marketing technology firm mBlox has added Smart Groups to mBlox Engage.

Smart Groups are a cloud-based mobile engagement platform which enables companies to create, automate and measure meaningful marketing campaigns for their mobile application users.
Smart Groups make it easy to automate the delivery of highly targeted, contextually relevant messages and push notifications to consumers by auto-populating their membership in campaigns based on their real-time behavior, location and local time.
Smart Groups are auto-populated in real-time based on predefined conditions, such as where the user is located, what they’ve done in the application, when they did it and how often.
A series of quick menu selections in the Engagement Manager web interface provides powerful segmentation that can reinforce consumer behavior and optimize marketing effectiveness over time. Brands and enterprises of all sizes can now automate mobile marketing campaigns for their application users without having to embark on expensive, lengthy IT projects.
“mBlox has a long history as the global leader in business-to-consumer SMS messaging, which enables us to really understand what businesses need for mobile engagement. We have used our expertise to extend our platform, enabling better contextual targeting in order to provide brands with a mechanism for higher consumer loyalty and better application ROI,” says Steve Love, CEO, mBlox. “We’re the only company with a complete global mobile engagement platform supporting interactive text messaging, rich media messages, push notifications and geolocation.”
