July 22, 2011

European affiliates are overwhelmingly positive about future earnings, with commission payments set to increase by 30% on average in 2011 compared to 2010, according to new research.

The findings, from Affiliates4u, in association with Webgains, comes as part of its new European Affiliate Landscape Report 2011.
Within the expected revenue figures for affiliates, 67% of respondents are currently earning up to 5,000 per month, and 29% of the affiliates who entered the survey earning between 5,000 and 250,000+ per month, meaning that 4% of European affiliates earn more than 250,000 per month.
In amongst the 48 page landscape report, advertiser de-duplication remains an unknown quantity, with 40% of affiliates believing that as much as 25% of their revenue is lost due to de-duplication and over 20% of affiliates believing 25-50% of their revenue is lost through this advertiser policy.
