Audi debuts first video ad to connected TVs

MediaCom, smartclip and woomi have launched the UK’s first connected TV video advertising campaign with Audi.

smartclip will work with the media agency MediaCom and connected TV service woomi to serve video ads for their latest addition to the model range, the A7 Sportback.
The campaign begins with immediate effect and will see pre roll video ads for the prestigious car manufacturer running across various content on the woomi service.
In addition, as part of the deal, woomi will host an Audi Channel with client supplied content. This will go live during the campaign dates 19th April to 8th July.
woomi is a cloud-based, managed platform that reaches the largest possible audience across multiple devices, with a TV-centric, user-friendly interface.
It is currently the only connected TV app capable of selling ads to its audience in the UK. Set to take connected television to an even wider audience this year, woomi uniquely delivers an enhanced viewing experience to today’s global audiences, playing thousands of hours of rich television and internet content from multiple genres.
