Facebook movie: ‘The Social Network’ gets new website and trailer

Columbia Pictures has launched a new official website for their new movie “The Social Network”, a ‘warts-and-all’ biopic based around the lives of the facebook founders.

The movie, tells the story of Eduardo Saverin and Mark Zuckerberg, the founders of Facebook, and is directed by David Fincher, of Se7en and Fight Club fame.
Scheduled to be released in the UK on 15th October, The Social Network is based on Ben Mezrich’s book The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook, a Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal.
The new website emulates the look and feel of Facebook itself, letting users view photos of different scenes in the movie, read the latest news, and watch the new trailers as they are released.
The film stars Jesse Eisenberg (who plays Mark Zuckerberg), Justin Timberlake, Rashida Jones, Rooney Mara and Andrew Garfield.
The website located at www.TheSocialNetwork-Movie.com features several “The Social Network” trailers.
