Kenshoo expands to France and Germany

November 28, 2011

Digital marketing software provider has launched new offices in France, and Germany.

The French office will come under the leadership of Pascal Gayat, and Germany, under new Managing Director, Frank Scheurer.
Kenshoo’s drive to increase presence in Europe coincides with the appointment of Marco Botticelli as Projects Director and Darral Wilson as Account Manager in the Kenshoo UK Office.
Prior to joining Kenshoo to open the French office, Gayat was CEO of Qausmediagroup SAS, a leader in SEM, SEO social media, display advertising, email and affiliate marketing. At Quamediagroup, Gayat grew the company by 3,000% over 4 years. Gayat has also held senior roles with Position Technologies, Yahoo, and 24/7 Media.
Before coming to Kenshoo to start the German office, Scheurer was Director of Sales and Marketing for klickfreundlich GmbH. Previously, Scheuerer was Head of Agency at Google Germany, where he worked with revenues in excess of €500million. With more than 23 years experience in media and heading up teams since 1998, Scheuerer has worked with leading names in the sector, including TUI, Mindshare and Mediaplus.
Botticelli joins the Kenshoo UK team with six years multi-industry experience in search, digital media planning, digital marketing and e-commerce. Coming from Organic Inc. and Mindshare, Botticelli brings experience of working with global names such as Hilton International, HSBC and Volvo to supplement the Kenshoo team. Part of Botticelli’s role at Organic Inc. involved the impressive management of campaigns featuring in excess of 3 million keywords, localised across 48 markets and 7 engines in EMEA and APAC, resulting in a total combined budget of over $10 million.
Wilson is a seasoned pay-per-click (PPC) specialist, with particular experience in the Health, Travel and Retail sectors and joins Kenshoo UK from Carat Media. Wilson rose quickly through Carat Media, developing PPC and strategy forecasting specialisations.
Commenting on the latest expansion, Chris Ward, Kenshoo Managing Director, Europe, stated, “Our new European offices and UK appointments are part of Kenshoo’s push to become fully embedded as the go-to technology for search marketing and social advertising across Europe. Pascal and Frank are the perfect leaders to complement our regional and global approach and build on-the-ground resources to local customers in France and Geramny. Our UK office will continue to play a central role in coordinating overall European strategy so we’re very pleased to have Marco and Darral join the ranks. We look forward to the opportunities that our European expansion brings for our partners.”
