GoPro channel launches on Red Bull TV

September 2, 2016

The GoPro Channel will launch on Red Bull TV, marking the first step taken together since GoPro and Red Bull officially joined forces back in May.

In May, GoPro joined forces with Red Bull for a multi-year partnership connecting two of the world’s most beloved brands to innovate, produce and distribute world-class content to a massive worldwide audience. Today, we’re excited to announce the next phase of our partnership: the launch of The GoPro Channel on Red Bull TV.

To celebrate our newest content channel, we’re unveiling exclusive raw footage from the highly anticipated film, The Fourth Phase, featuring Travis Rice and Eric Jackson in Alaska.

The Fourth Phase will premiere October 2nd exclusively on Red Bull TV; but today, for six breath-taking minutes, viewers can walk in the shoes (or boots) of two world-class snowboarders as they capture behind-the-scenes footage from the deep backcountry—above and beyond what can be seen in the film’s official trailer.

The GoPro Channel on Red Bull TV will also feature two of its acclaimed original series, Chasing El Niño with Chris Benchetler and Two Roads, as well as additional content exposing the intimate, never-before-seen perspectives of some of the world’s top adventure sport athletes:

• Chasing El Niño with Chris Benchetler is a four-part series that follows the world famous pro skier and adventurer as he searches for the best snow conditions up and down the West Coast of the USA and Canada during the 2015-2016 snow season.
• Two Roads is an 11-part original series that follows eleven athletes and one coach who have made the commitment to pursue greatness. Each episode will showcase an athlete’s unique journey within their sport, and truly define the life-changing moments that led them to the path they currently walk.
• Record-Breaking Victory: UCI MTB World Cup 2016: GoPro Extra – Ride along with Rachel Atherton as she claims her record-breaking 10th consecutive downhill victory at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup presented by Shimano in Leogang, Austria.
• Danny MacAskill: Cascadia – Join street trials pro rider, Danny MacAskill, on an insane journey across the rooftops of Gran Canaria in a video that mixes vertigo-inducing lines and killer POV-footage.

Authentic and immersive GoPro content has been synonymous with the Red Bull brand since the revolutionary cameras were first introduced in 2002. Red Bull adventure sport athletes—including big wave surfers, freestyle mountain bikers, slopestyle snowboarders and pro skateboarders—were among the many early adopters to tell their stories using GoPro technology. The GoPro Channel will feature new clips and legendary videos from these arenas, and many more.

The GoPro Channel on Red Bull TV will also feature highlights from some of Red Bull TV’s most popular content and original series, including bonus footage of rooftop jumping, bridge climbing and subterranean exploration from URBEX and Claudio Caluori’s white-knuckle course previews for the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup presented by Shimano.
