November 22, 2018

LoopMe announced today the appointment of Simon Stone as UK Commercial Director.

LoopMe, which recently announced $17m funding to fuel its further expansion, specialises in using data and AI to optimise digital campaigns to real-world outcomes, such as purchase intent, store visits or sales.

Stone has over twenty years’ experience in media and advertising, most recently as Digital Commercial Director at Time Inc (formerly Collective). He started his career at Channel 4, rising to Group Head. From there he founded Web TV, the UK’s first dedicated online video network which was acquired by Collective in 2011.

In his role as LoopMe’s Commercial Director, Stone will be responsible for growing LoopMe’s agency partnerships in the UK and Europe, reporting into Pete O’Mara Kane, GM International.

Simon commented, ‘I’m really excited to join LoopMe at this pivotal stage of their growth. Their AI technology platform is outstanding and the ability to deliver against real brand outcomes makes our offering unique in market at a time when advertisers are demanding brand attribution. We are re-defining digital brand advertising and I look forward to working closely with our partners to help accelerate LoopMe’s growth.’

Pete O’Mara Kane said, ‘I’m delighted to welcome Simon to the LoopMe team, who is a pioneer in the brand and video space. He brings a great deal of experience to the team and I’m confident he’ll quickly scale our proposition further.’
