In her new role, Anna will oversee all UK activity, growing the company’s portfolio of partnerships and ensuring that the platform continues to provide advertisers with the most cutting-edge technology to manage their campaigns.

Anna brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent the last 15 years leading sales teams at advertising technology companies. Before joining The Trade Desk, Anna was Managing Director of EMEA at mobile advertising analytics company Marchex, where she grew the Sales, Marketing and Client Engagement arms. Prior to this, Anna served as the EMEA Sales Director at AppNexus, responsible for building and developing relationships across the advertising ecosystem. In addition, Anna has held roles at Brainient (now Teads Studio) and Vibrant Media.

Sacha Berlik, Managing Director for EMEA at The Trade Desk, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Anna to the team. She joins at a really pivotal time for The Trade Desk, having recently launched the Next Wave – three new data-driven innovations that benefit advertisers, publishers and consumers. Anna’s passion for programmatic, sales and marketing expertise and experience working with global ad tech companies are second to none. Her skills will be an invaluable asset to the leadership team as we continue to grow in the UK.”

Anna Forbes added: “With digital advertising developing at unprecedented speed it’s a real honour to join such an innovative company that’s proud to be pushing programmatic technology to the next level. The Trade Desk has an outstanding reputation in the industry, with its collaborative approach to clients and true transparency baked into everything it does. We’ve got some really exciting plans in the pipeline and I can’t wait to help the team execute on them.”
