As the English football leagues kick off for another season, a new app aims to offer a simpler, mobile friendly alternative to fantasy football leagues.
With a free account users can follow three football competitions. Invite your friends, colleagues and family via social media and become a group together. In the group the scores of your team members are recorded.
By swiping they can predict: winning, losing or a draw. After the match each player’s score card is reviewed and analysed.
With the help of statistics, users can determine their choice and predict the outcome.
From 11 August Puntr is available for the competitions in 12 countries (Ireland, Italy, Belgium, England, Scotland Greece, Portugal, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Turkey). Apart from your “own” competition you can also play Puntr for the European tournaments (Champions League and European League).
Puntr is an initiative from Dutch company Bazooka Media.
