Video viral of the week: Temptations lets cat owners say sorry for festive faux paws

November 10, 2015

Mars-owned cat treat brand Temptations has launched a #SaySorry campaign for the sake of grumpy cats dress up for the festive season. See why it’s our video viral of the week below…

Accompanied by Elton John’s ‘Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word’, the 30-60 second clips invite owners everywhere to apologise to their cats for the discomfort they put them through for the sake of Christmas.

The TV, video, print and display ad campaign from agency adam&eveDDB lightheartedly pokes fun at cat owners who lovingly embrace the holidays to the fullest with their cats.

With pet owners spending more than $5 billion on their pets during the holidays and more and more owners dressing cats in their holiday best, the ad shows some of the worst excesses of feline festivities.

The ads will run alongside social media hashtag campaign #SaySorry to help your cats “forgive and forget” with the company’s cat treats.
