Amazon is testing a fast food delivery service in the US as part of its Prime Now membership, according to a news report.
The Prime Now service has been available in several cities like Dallas, Chicago, Miami, Baltimore, offering one-hour delivery.
According to GeekWire, it has signed up a number of restaurants in the Seattle area for the fast food trial, which has so far only been open to Amazon employees.
It ties with its new offering of one-and two-hour delivery of alcohol from its nearby warehouse.
The drivers for that service are also able to handle fast food deliveries.
Through the Prime Now app, customers receive two-hour deliveries for free; one-hour deliveries are an additional $7.99 per order.
