Hailo and Bookatable unite for ‘ultimate dining convenience’

Cab app Hailo has teamed up with real-time restaurant marketplace Bookatable to enable restaurateurs to offer Hailo’s super convenient on demand taxi service to diners.

Following an integration with Bookatable’s cloud-based table reservation service, restaurants can now book one of Hailo’s 15,000 strong fleet of London black cabs on behalf of restaurant goers at the push of a button.

No longer are diners left waiting for taxis outside in the street or fiddling awkwardly with their phones under the table booking taxis, worse still making calls in the restaurant itself. Instead, all it takes is a discreet word with the waiting staff and a Hailo will be ready as soon as the diner has got their jacket.

The first phase of the integration will see Bookatable rollout to their top-tier restaurants with another 1,500 to go live by the end of the summer.

Commenting on the partnership, Jon Moore, Chief Product Officer at Hailo stated: We’re really delighted to partner with Bookatable to create this additional layer of service quality for restaurants and their customers. Integrating our API with market-leading service providers like Bookatable helps to extend the great Hailo experience to a highly relevant audience in a context where getting a safe, fast and reliable journey home really matters.

Joe Steele, CEO at Bookatable added further: We’re always looking to make life easier for our restaurant staff and their customers, so our integration with Hailo allows us to offer a greater level of service, as well as provide simplicity for waiting staff. Our integrated offering means diners can end their night enjoyably and service staff aren’t rushing between serving tables and waiting outside for cabs.
