Hotwire expands with San Francisco office launch

May 16, 2013

Hotwire has launched an office in San Francisco, California, as the UK communications agency continues its expansion overseas.

The launch of Hotwire San Francisco comes less than two years after the founding of Hotwire New York and is the twelfth wholly owned Hotwire office across Europe, Australia and North America.
Hotwire San Francisco’s team of five employees is anchored by associate director Annette Leach, a transfer from Hotwire London.
Leach will report into Hotwire’s US managing director, Leslie Campisi. Hotwire has already established a 15-person team in New York, bringing the combined Hotwire US team to 20 across both offices.
The launch of Hotwire San Francisco allows Hotwire to bring on-the-ground support to current West Coast clients while also competing for bi-coastal US technology accounts and global agency remits.
Brendon Craigie, CEO, Hotwire, commented: “Our expansion to San Francisco and focus on growing Hotwire’s West Coast business follows the great success that our team has delivered in the US to date. It further strengthens the connection between our Australasian and European teams and helps us to deliver against our vision to be the fresh and alternative partner of choice for technology and digital brands looking for US or global communications support.”
Campisi added: “There is a gap in the market between the local boutiques and large, multinational agencies that exists in San Francisco. Opening our doors on the West Coast means Hotwire can now introduce a compelling alternative to prospective clients caught between these two less-than-ideal options. Our reception in New York has been very positive. We’re looking forward to continuing the momentum in San Francisco over the coming months and years.”
Hotwire has wholly owned offices in the UK, US, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, and New Zealand, and an affiliate network covering Asia and the Nordics, Eastern Europe and the Netherlands.
