New search engine Oparla has launched a bookmarking service tied to its search results.
From today, users of the British engine will be able to save favourite sites and useful links to their Oparla account.
Helping users keep track of their preferred online destinations, the bookmarking service from Oparla is the latest in a series of social media partnerships.
Unlike most bookmarking services, Oparla users don’t need to log in to a separate site to find their saved URLs but can access them from the search engine.
Users save favourites by clicking an icon at the side of each search result.
Daniel Jupp, the entrepreneur behind the search engine, said: “Our new bookmarking service will make it easy for web users to organise all of their favourite sites. Rather than keep them on a PC or web browser, they’re stored online for ease of access. By placing a button at the side of each site returned in the search results, we’ve also made it easy to add new favourites.
“This is just one in a series of great new additions we have planned for Oparla. There are some very exciting developments in the pipeline which will make it easier and quicker to search the web and store information online.”
The Oparla bookmarking service is completely free of charge and available to all users of the search engine. Users are required to register with the search engine in order to ensure secure access to their personalised bookmarks.
The 60-second form also gives the account holder entrance into Oparla’s daily cash draw.
The search engine pays up to £1000 to one user per day, drawing entrants from searches carried out. Each time a search query is performed, that user is automatically entered into the draw.
Jupp added, “The more searches you perform on Oparla, the more chances you have of winning the cash. Our minimum payout is £10, going up to a maximum of £1000 so it really does pay to choose Oparla to surf the net.”
