Online fashion retailer ASOS has seen its sales for the 12 months to the end of March rise 104% to £165m.
Sales for the last month to 24 April were up 80% year-on-year.
Nick Robertson ASOS chief executive said the strong performance reflected the fact that "younger fashion is proving resilient, internet shopping continues to gain in popularity".
He added the group expected its pre-tax profit to be "slightly ahead of market expectations".
Founded in 2000, ASOS targets internet-savvy 18 to 34 year olds and offers over 20,000 branded and own label products.
The company has recently signed a number of new brands for this summer, including Mango, Hackett, Gant and Mini Boden.
Despite the economic downturn, ASOS is positive about the year ahead.
"Whilst we are being more conservative in our planning for 2009/2010, we believe the outlook is still very positive, and we look forward to another year of strong growth", Robertson said.
ASOS sales for the last month to 24 April were also up by 80% year-on-year and international sales, bolstered by the weak pound, were up 173% on last year.
