The commercial for a new Flash Car Wash product will target male Sky Digital viewers and will run for two months.
The ad was designed by agency Ape TV and built by Sky Interactive.
Running for around two months, the interactive ad will demonstrate the product and will offer users the chance to enter a competition to win a trip to the World Rally Championship.
The ads can be accessed via the red button during broadcast spots, as well as at Sky Active portal.
Emma Jenkins, head of interactive marketing at Procter & Gamble, said: “Interactive television provides consumers with a deeper and more enriching experience during which time they can interact with the brand for several minutes. This new advertisement marks a further investment to trial iTV and understand more about this medium.”
In February, Procter & Gamble "pulled out":http://www.netimperative.com/2005/02/09/proctor_ziptv/ of the Zip TV consortium due to the involvement of some of its rivals in the interactive television collective.
Zip TV launched as an iTV alternative to Sky digital, and has been signed up by Five, Interactive Digital Sales and Sky Digital for use in interactive TV advertising, as well as its original client Channel 4.
