The deal means Red Fig will develop iTV solutions for Kingstons new and existing clients.
Red Fig said its solutions will offer media clients iTV servies that do not require large scale up-front investment. The services will be targeted at public service broadcasters such as the BBC and Channel 4, as well as to programme makers yet to add iTV elements to their broadcasts.
Kingston, a rival to former telco incumbent BT, is a UK supplier of voice, data, mobile and internet communications services.
Andrew Tapley, managing director of partner services at Kingston, said: “As the broadcast and media communities increase their regional focus, we are ideally placed to support them in this strategy through our offices across the UK. This alliance with Red Fig is a huge step forward for Kingston's ambitions to penetrate the broadcast market.”
Participation TV firm Red Fig has worked with BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and five, alongside Disney, Flextech Television and Universal Studios UK.
It also worked with the Miss World Organisation and TWI to deliver an interactive vote to determine the 2004 winner.
