Online property service secures funding

The Virtual Property Market, which provides an online tendering service to the property, construction and facilities management sectors, has secured £150,000 in a second round of funding. The Glasgow-based firm said that the funding would be used for sales development, staff recruitment, and expansion, as well as further enhancements to its core e-tendering system. In addition, it confirmed the appointment of Malcolm McPherson, chairman of solicitors Henderson Boyd Jackson, as non-executive chairman of VPM.
