PTV bags 40,000 paying subscribers

Premium TV (PTV) said it has topped 40,000 subscribers for its football club specific "world" internet services during its first season. The company, which hosts 80 official football sites, said that it saw excellent growth during the second half of the football season, growing its base of paying customers from 25,000 at the end of 2003, to more than 40,000. The "world" websites provide subscribers with a range of exclusive club content including daily video news, exclusive video highlights and interviews, "Goal of the Month" voting and a console which provides enhance live audio commentary.
