Dulux debuts online colour picker with Houzz

November 17, 2017

Home design technology platform Houzz Inc has launched a Colour Picker tool in the UK in partnership with paint brand Dulux.

The tool helps people explore Dulux paint colours that are the closest match to colours in the 15 million+ home design photos on Houzz.co.uk

The Colour Picker enables homeowners, home design enthusiasts and home professionals to identify corresponding Dulux mixed paint colours in any photo on Houzz and to find the colour combinations that could work for their projects. Beyond finding colours on walls, people can match Dulux colours to other elements in the photo, such as fabrics and floors.

“One of the most common questions we see in the discussions on Houzz is what colour was used in a design,” said Marcus Hartwall, managing director of Houzz UK. “As we’re always looking to make the home renovation and design experience more fun and productive, we’re delighted to partner with Dulux to help our community discover colours that could work for their projects.”

“This is a great partnership which gives consumers confidence to choose colour by using the simple Dulux Colour Picker tool and helps them finalise their room decoration”, said Nicki Foggoa, Colour Experience Manager at Dulux.
