The rise of dating apps: Global trends of the ‘Tinder Generation’ [INFOGRAPHIC]

September 6, 2017

This week saw Tinder top the Apple App Store for the first time in the paid content category. This new infographic looks at how global use of dating apps has evolved.

Mobile data platform, Ogury has recently undertaken some research on dating apps and mobile dating habits from a regional and city perspective.

The explosion of dating apps means there are now lots to choose from, and what’s hot and not varies from country to country, city to city and region to region, and also between men and women.

So how are travellers, looking to do as the locals do, supposed to know what the best apps to use are?

This study has been conducted in the UK, Spain, France, Italy, and the United States between January and June 2017 with a mobile user profile sample of more than 6 million and is designed to help you find this out.
