Angry Birds goes VR with ‘Isle of Pigs’ game

Angry Birds fans will soon be able to flock to a far away island to battle green pigs in virtual reality with the latest Angry Birds game, set to debut in early 2019.

Angry Birds VR: Isle of Pigs will allow fans of the incredibly popular franchise to swoop in on a remote island to take on the infamous green pigs with the help of their favorite Angry Birds characters.

The game is being developed in a partnership between Rovio and Resolution Games which has produced one of the most popular VR titles of all time (Bait!) and their games are among the highest rated on their respective platforms.
