Olympics aggregator Banjo offers real time insight into games

Social media platform Banjo, has launched a new Olympics tool that aggregates the most popular social networks into one feed, sharing views from athletes and fans in real time and by location.

The free iPhone and Android app incorporates a new Olympics section under Trending Places.
Banjo shows all of the social updates, photos and insights direct from London across all major social networks like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Foursquare creating a unified, real-time look into the Olympic games.
Banjo has a user base spanning 190 countries.
Damien Patton, CEO, Banjo said: “This is not just the ‘social Olympic Games’ this is the ‘mobile Olympic Games’ – more tweets, posts, images and video are being posted via mobile smartphones than any other platform, so a single feed is critical to make sense of it all and to provide that authentic, behind the scenes, experience. People around the world have an opportunity to experience the Olympics through a new medium by consuming, commenting and sharing photos, tweets, news and more from the heart of London as it happens. As social tools continue to emerge and further connect the world, we felt it was important to develop a platform that has the power to bring all of these conversations into one channel.”
