Three debuts pay-as-you-go mobile broadband

Three has introduced a one-day internet access package for users who only need casual 3G data connectivity.

The Pay Per Day deal costs £2 and provides 500MB of data transfer for the 24-hour period. Users can buy online or pick up a voucher in shops.
The mobile network operator said there is no time limit on the vouchers, so if a customer buys £10 worth of vouchers they will be able to use each of the five vouchers whenever the need them.
Three currently provides PAYG mobile broadband on a 30-day contract. Pay £10, for exmaple, and you’ll get an iPad-ready Micro SIM and 1GB of data. But you have to use it within the month, or lose your remaining data allowance.
