Global Personals launches 'Silver Surfer' dating network

According to the OfCom’s report, The Communications Market 2010, Over-55s are the fastest-growing age group for internet take-up, with 50 per cent now having broadband, up from 43 per cent last year. More than 70 per cent of over-55s with a web connection use their computers for email, but many also visit social networking websites, play games online, download films or listen to online radio.
