Avengers snaps away movie competition on social media

Following Avengers: End Game’s box office smash opening weekend, new data from Socialbakers has found that the film has also smashed the competition on social media.

Outlining the top 20 social media movie profiles on Twitter and Instagram, Avengers comes out way on top – and beat its previous iteration, Infinity War, in the 30-day run-up to launch by millions of followers and interactions.

Avengers has had over 7 million interactions on Twitter and 52 million in Instagram since the start of 2019, while Avengers: Endgame has had over 35 million interactions and over 2 million new followers on Instagram in the 30 days before its premiere.
