Instagram fail: Kardashian star accidentally pastes sponsored post instructions in caption

“Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star Scott Disick has become the subject of web ridicule after mistakenly including all the instructions his advertisers sent him on a paid Instagram post.

Disick frequently advertises on the platform , being particularly attractive to brands looking to reach his 16 million followers on the platform.

According to news site Jezebel, Disick can earn between $15,000-$20,000 for each promotion.

Scott Disick posted a promotional shot promoting a workout supplement Bootea Shake, seemingly copy and pasting instructions from the sponsor into the caption.

It read:

Here you go, at 4pm est, write the below. Caption: Keeping up with the summer workout routine with my morning@booteauk protein shake!

The blunder was quickly spotted by eagle-eyed Instagram users.

The post has since been edited (see current version below).

While the mistake could be damaging for both the brand and Disick’s appeal as an influencer, the mistake and resulting media coverage certainly amplified the reach of the post.

But if Disick’s role as an influencer does diminish, he could always get a job as a cake decorator:
