The Wall Street Journal-owned technology blog All Things D reports that Yahoo has made several offers with different prices and terms.
Yahoo joins other bidders in trying to acquire Hulu, which was a pioneer in streaming TV shows and movies over the Internet for free.
The site, owned by News Corp., Disney and Comcast, more recently launched a premium service with additional content.
All Things D also cites sources inside the company as saying that Yahoo is also contemplating at least two other significant purchases — in the $150 million to $200 million range — each for a mobile and a communications company.
Earlier this month, Yahoo paid $1.1 billion in cash to purchase blogging site Tumblr.
