Glow’s ‘Engagement Accelerator’ boosts Facebook newsfeed ads

Facebook ad technology firm Glow Digital Media has launched the ‘Engagement Accelerator’, designed to get the most out of newsfeed ads.

The Engagement Accelerator lets advertisers boost engagement within the newsfeed, on mobile and desktop, prompting consumers to visit the advertiser’s site and purchase items.
The tool’s page post creation shows all product images in a gallery automatically, on entering a URL.
It also enables advertisers to schedule and target any published or dark page post, allowing a calendar of messages to be created in advance.
This new application will allow advertisers to compare the organic distribution of their page posts versus those paid for, allowing them to make intelligent decisions on where to apply ad budget.
It also simplifies the process for advertisers, by automatically inserting the relevant tracking parameters to the format and suggesting relevant Sponsored Stories to run, that help to amplify the message to the friends of users who interact with it.
“The majority of interactions people have with brands on Facebook happen within the feed, on desktop and mobile, so it is essential that companies have a coherent approach to how they reach users in that environment,” said Damian Routley, CEO, Glow. “With the Engagement Accelerator, advertisers can engage efficiently and effectively on the platform.”
This latest development follows Glow’s recent Series A funding announcement, in which it raised over one million dollars.
At the same time, Glow bolstered its senior team with key positions overseeing Data Science, Business Development and Product Management. It also launched its Los Angeles office, headed up by David Wamsley in the role of VP, Sales and Strategic Partnerships, US.
Founded in 2009, Glow has experienced rapid growth. In September 2012, this was spurred on by when the firm was named one of twelve Facebook Strategic Preferred Marketing Developers (SPMD) worldwide; the highest accreditation Facebook gives to marketing developers.
