The Netherlands has an exceptionally high representation among social networking sites Twitter.com and Linkedin.com, ranking number one among all countries in Internet penetration for these sites, according to new data.
The study, from Comscore, found that in each case, more than one in four Dutch Internet users visits these sites during the course of the month.
While the top ten countries in Linkedin penetration are either English-speaking or in Western Europe, the top countries for Twitter touch virtually every corner of the globe.
