Irish digital agency Cybercom expands to London

Dublin based strategic and creative agency Cybercom recently opened a London office to service existing clients and develop new business opportunities.

Cybercom launched in 1999, and now has a team of 40 are spread across five key departments – strategic planning, client service, media innovation, creative & design and technology. The agency opened its doors in London last month (February).
“After 12 years in business and some recent UK client wins, we feel the time is right to open our first UK office”, according to Jonathan Forrest, Cybercom Managing Director.
The new Cybercom London office in Soho will be headed up by Cybercom director, Rob Reid, with support from a UK client service department. Members of the Dublin team will regularly commute back and forth on client business. All creative and production will be implemented in Dublin which will prove very cost effective for UK clients.
“25% of our business now comes from the UK market so there is a requirement for a more permanent ‘on the ground’ presence”, comments Reid. “We have had a small sales offering in London for the past two years and it is opportune that we now have a permanent base to provide finely tuned and local client service.”
“Our digital campaigns and programmes have been recognised on a number of international platforms – most recently at the DMA UK awards in December 2010 where we won ‘Best Use of Search’ for our work on Jurys Inn”, according to Forrest. “Our lead agency status on a number of major Irish campaigns for global brands means we have the ability and multi-disciplined intelligence to compete head to head with the best of London talent. While our heritage lies in full service digital, we understand how digital integrates with ATL and BTL to deliver a cohesive consumer experience”, continues Forrest.
Cybercom clients include Coca-Cola (UK & Ireland), Open University (global), G-Star Raw (global), Jurys Inn (UK), L’Oreal (UK), Vodafone (Ireland), Diageo (Ireland), RBS (Ireland), Guinness Webstore (global) and Aviva (Ireland). Alongside Coca-Cola, new UK client wins this year include Keyline Brands (London) and Titanic Belfast (Northern Ireland).
