New service offers one-stop shop for international rail tickets

Dolphin Dynamics and SilverRail Technologies have established a partnership that will enable UK domestic and international rail tickets to be researched and via the Dolphin reservation platform.

Through a direct link to SilverRail the new Dolphin rail booking solution will provide live search, pricing, scheduling, booking and rail ticket fulfilment functions for UK domestic and international rail suppliers, such as Amtrak.
Features of Dolphin’s newly developed rail booking engine will include a dynamic matrix of fares, the ability to compare trains from different rail companies on a single screen and access to a range of available ticket types – including discounted fares and fully flexible fares.
Most importantly, Dolphin users will be able to directly compare train times side by side with GDS-sourced flights and Low Cost Carriers connected to the Dolphin platform, ensuring maximum user productivity and accuracy.
The new rail booking solution will also enable rail services to be combined and packaged with accommodation, car-rental and all other ground suppliers already linked via Dolphin.
