Apple reportedly sold a million devices in the first 28 days of its US launch and with many other IT brands releasing or planning devices this year, the marketplace is set to continue growing into 2011.

The tablet device sits between the laptop and the smartphone, giving users a new way to remain connected while they are on the go. While some people have dismissed the idea of a tablet computer, more specifically describing the iPad as nothing more than a giant iPhone, user reviews have been positive and the sales figures speak for themselves.
