Video advertising management platform Auditude has appointed Damian Scragg as Director of International Sales and Services and the opening of the company’s London office.

In Scragg’s new role, he will be leading the global expansion of Auditude’s business.

“I'm incredibly excited about joining Auditude at a time when the online video industry is exploding,” said Damian Scragg.  “"Video ad management requires a very specific set of tools and Auditude has the best product in the marketplace.   I look forward to leading their international expansion.”

Prior to joining Auditude, Damian served as European Sales Director for Right Media, which was acquired by Yahoo!.

In this role, he developed and implemented Right Media’s go-to-market plan for Europe as well as developed their international client base of publishers, agencies and ad networks.

Prior to Right Media, Scragg served as Senior Account Director for DoubleClick subsidiary, Abacus Direct.   In this role, he managed more than 20 key accounts to help their clients maximize revenue.

“Europe and the UK in particular, are among the largest online video markets.  In several cases, more advertising dollars are spent online than on television. It’s a great fit for our products and services,” said Adam Cahan, CEO of Auditude.  “We are excited to have someone with Damian’s experience lead these efforts as we continue to expand our partner base internationally.”

Auditude currently works with many of the largest players in online video including Comcast Interactive Media’s portfolio, Dailymotion, Major League Baseball, MySpace Music and Television, Universal Music Group, Sony Music and Yahoo!, among others.

Twitter is now a 'destination website' and that means it is gunning for Facebook, but cleverly avoiding a direct dogfight. It’s more an information network than a social network and so is offering much, much more. Tanya Goodin, CEO of search and social conversion agency Tamar comments…
