Teletext Holidays appoints I Spy for social media task

Teletext Holidays has appointed specialist digital media agency, I Spy Marketing to coordinate its first venture into social media. Following a formal pitch, I Spy won the brief after unveiling a bespoke strategy, designed to increase the travel provider’s customer base through a variety of social media platforms.  In addition to creating and optimising Teletext Holiday’s profile across a number of networking websites – including Twitter and Facebook – I Spy will also be responsible for the Teletext Holidays blog.

The project is part of a long-term campaign to engage Teletext Holiday’s travel customers across multiple channels. Despite reducing its analogue TV services late last year, the company retains holiday pages on its original medium to support the company’s website – www.teletextholidays.co.uk  – which is now its primary sales portal.
