Twitter lists proves popular

Twitter has rolled out its new lists feature to all customers last week, with some 6.5 million lists already being created as Tweeters look to sort their feeds into different types.
Previously in testing for a limited number of users, Lists has now gone live to the Twitter community at large.
Lists can be either private or public, which allows others to view your list and subscribe to those tweets without having to subscribe to the individual users.
A Google search reveals some 6.5 million Twitter lists have been created so far.
