Omniture offers analytics and reporting tools for Bing

Jun 05, 2009

Online business optimisation software firm Omniture is providing new measuring and reporting capabilities for search data from Bing, Microsoft’s new search engine released last week.

This capability, available in Omniture SearchCenter, Omniture SiteCatalyst and Omniture Discover OnPremise, enhances the robust search campaign management tools of Omniture SearchCenter and the analytics and reporting functionalities of Omniture SiteCatalyst.

It will allow online marketers running search campaigns on Bing to:

View natural search results together with paid search results from Bing, then use that data to optimise paid search campaigns by adding top performing natural keywords to their paid search campaigns

Manage Bing search campaigns alongside campaigns from over a dozen other search engines, including Google and Baidu, through a single user interface and management dashboard

Make more informed, data-driven decisions about paid and natural search campaigns across all search engines

Brett Error, CTO and executive vice president, products at Omniture said “Omniture’s Online Marketing Suite continues to support the latest technologies to help CMOs and marketers optimise their campaigns for increased conversion and greater ROI.”

“The Bing reporting capabilities in the Omniture Online Marketing Suite will help marketers measure the value of search campaigns from Bing and their impact on search marketing efforts to make more informed and profitable decisions” he continued.

Bing reporting capabilities are immediately available to all new and current customers of Omniture SiteCatalyst, SearchCenter and Discover OnPremise products.
