We’re delighted to let readers know that the Netimperative.com publishing, training and managed events businesses have been bought by leading internet business strategy specialists Digital Strategy Consulting, owners of the Digital Intelligence newswire and the Digital Training Academy management coaching firm.

Netimperative.com’s publishing business - which includes this news site, the Digital Industry Guide and the daily email news services for 12,000 people - will continue alongside Digital Intelligence, Digital Insight Reports and Digital Strategy Consulting’s other publishing operations.

Netimperative.com’s events business - which includes monthly the Directors’ Dinners, NetNights, Digital Seminars and Digital Conferences will work with the DigitalTrainingAcademy.com internet marketing coaching business.

Davina Lines, our co-founder and Managing Director described it as: “Great news, we’ve been reporting on this industry for a decade and know it inside and out, but the market is tough for publishers and becoming part of Digital Strategy Consulting gives us access to greater resources and more content – while their DigitalTrainingAcademy.com management coaching business is a great boost for our events.”

Danny Meadows-Klue, Chief Executive of Digital Strategy Consulting said: “The centre of gravity in marketing and communications has shifted to digital channels. Getting the right digital strategy is now a make-or-break agenda item in every boardroom. Netimperative.com will be giving managers the insights they need for making the right decisions, right now.”

Many of our readers will know Danny well. He was recognised by the government as one of the founders of the UK internet industry, the cofounder of the IAB association and its first CEO in the UK and Europe and the former publisher of the UK’s first online newspaper, Telegraph.co.uk.

Our activities will grow as Netimperative.com become part of the Digital Strategy Consulting group and all of our team will move to Digital Strategy Consulting’s offices in London’s Soho. Publishing will continue in the next 10 days.
